CLEARFIELD, Utah (AP) - Police say several cats have been found decapitated at a municipal park in Clearfield.
The Standard-Examiner reports that a woman came across a boy cutting off the head of one dead cat on Monday.
Jana Taylor says the boy took off, dropping a butcher knife.
Taylor says the cat was one of four decapitated cats she's found at Clearfield's James Barlow Park in recent weeks.
Some of the decapitated cats didn't show a clean knife wound, leading authorities to believe wild animals are behind some attacks.
