(KSL News) This morning police are looking for a woman involved in an attempted armed robbery.

The woman entered the La Pinata market at 360 S. 1240 West in Salt Lake last night, pulled out a pistol and demanded cash.

The clerk threw the till at the robber.

A car similar to one the suspect may have used.

The woman ran out of the store and got into a white Chevy Impala. Witnesses say it looked similar to an unmarked police car.

Anyone with information is asked to call Salt Lake Police.
