(KSL News) Friends and family held a benefit tonight for a Midvale Police officer who is fighting an aggressive form of cancer.
All of the proceeds from this barbecue dinner and dance will go to Officer Jose Argueta. He's suffering from esophageal cancer.
Many fellow officers believe Argueta's cancer is the result of exposure to methamphetamine during his years as a patrol officer.
If you'd like to contribute, you can do so at the Midvale Police Department or a Washington Mutual office.
