(KSL News) Two men in a stolen vehicle led police into a West Valley cul-de-sac this afternoon.
An officer thought the temporary license on an SUV looked suspicious, but when he tried pulling it over, the driver took off.
Both men jumped out of the vehicle. It kept going and crashed into a tree. The woman who lives in the house was mowing her lawn.
Valerie Keyes said, "Normally I have my son out here while I'm mowing, so it's a good thing he'd gotten tired and I put him down for a nap, because we easily could've both been over there."
After a short foot-chase police arrested Christopher Martin. He was treated for minor injuries and taken to a hospital.
Martin has several warrants out for his arrest. Police are still looking for the other man. They found drugs and drug paraphernalia inside the SUV.
