(Deseret Morning News) Governor Jon Huntsman's perfect veto record stays intact.

The Utah legislature will NOT try to override any of his vetos, which means every veto he's ever signed has gone into effect.

The Legislature needed a two thirds majority to call a special veto override session. But only nine of the 29 senators voted in favor of a session.

The legislature will reconvene in May. That's when lawmakers will debate the governor's personal income tax reform bill.
