(KSL News) -- Two Park City residents and their three dogs escaped an early morning fire and explosion in their home.
Park City firefighters got the call just before 4:00 this morning. On the way, the were told there was an explosion inside the home and a fire in the laundry room.
Most of the fire was put out by a home fire sprinkler system.
No word yet on what caused the explosion.
Fire crews say damage to the home was fairly substantial.
