MTV has given the green light to an "APPRENTICE"-style show which will see aspiring journalists vying for a chance at a staff position on Rolling Stone magazine.
The as-yet-untitled reality show will pit writers against one another in a three-month competition to see who is the best rock scribe.
Production on the show will begin this summer (06) and the show will premiere later this year.
Rolling Stone founder JANN WENNER says, "Throughout our history, we have seen the careers of some of the nation's most notable journalists flourish, including CAMERON CROWE and the late HUNTER S THOMPSON.
"We are anxious to meet the candidates and welcome them into the Rolling Stone family as they embark on their professional careers." (SS/DV/SC)
