(KSL News) The Utah Highway Patrol is hitting the roads in full force for this holiday weekend.
Troopers from around the state will be looking for drunk and drowsy drivers. It started tonight but will continue through the rest of the weekend.
According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, more than 13,000 people died in the U.S. last year from drunk driving. Forty-four of those were here in Utah.
