Officials say a nitric acid container leaked at Lab One, located near 3855 W. 2200 South. Authorities say around 30 employees had to evacuate while crews cleaned up the mess.

One worker suffered some minor burns.

Once fumes were cleared from the building, employees went back to work.

Officials say nitric acid is a highly corrosive agent that can cause severe eye and skin burns. It can also be fatal if it's inhaled.
