(KSL News) -- A 53-year-old man is in very critical condition after someone ran over him and then drove away.
No one witnessed the crash at 2700 South Redwood Road. A passerby saw the injured man and flagged down a police officer. Police are still trying to piece together exactly what happened.
Sgt. Randy Maurer/ West Valley Police: "We do have some parts and debris that were left over. We are able a lot of times to go ahead and take that debris and match it to a specific make and model of car."
Police found the car they believe was involved in the crash. They are still looking for the owner.
