(KSL News) A truck barreled through a part of the Main Street Plaza tonight.
Police say the 21- year-old driver headed directly toward a statue of Brigham Young on the plaza.

According to witnesses, the driver bypassed two one- inch curbs and narrowly missed the statue before coming to a stop.
The driver, told police he'd forgotten Main Street was annexed to Temple Square. Police believe alcohol could have been the reason.
