SALT LAKE CITY -- If you're going to try anything once, why not make it driving a race car?

KSL reporter Andrew Adams went to Miller Motorsports Park to learn how. The only trouble -- he didn't know how to drive a stick shift. Andrew claims he hasn't driven with a manual transmission since he was 16 years old.

After some instruction, he took off and reached speeds of up to 85 miles an hour. Then he took a spin with a professional driver at real race-car speeds. Play the video to see how it went.

"That was fantastic," Andrew said after the trip.
