PARK CITY -- Two of KSL's morning show reporters took a dare to ride the bobsled at the Utah Olympic Park in Park City.
Before taking a spin for our "I'll Try Anything Once" series, Shara Park and Randall Jeppesen took a practice run with the U.S. Adaptive Bobsled team.
The team's mission is to promote the sport of bobsled to men and women who face physical challenges that would otherwise prevent them from participating in the sport on both a national and international level. The team trains throughout the winter and summer.
Coach Jeremy Holm described what to expect.
"You're going to ask yourself, 'Is this what I really want to do?' You're going to get in the sled, you're going to start going down the track and think this isn't so bad. You're going to go through turn one, turn two, turn three, then you're going to hit turn four, which on this track is the first major G-force turn."
"At that point you're going to feel everything you ate for lunch get sucked to the bottom of your stomach and your head's going to get pulled down. Then that question's going to come back into your head, 'Am I crazy for this?'"
"Then you come out of turn four, turn five, turn six -- which is the biggest turn -- and I guarantee you're going to be smiling. Once you get down to the bottom, you're going to want to get out and go back up to the top and do it again," he said.
