Tom Callan, KSL NewsradioOrem police are warning about a crazed email scammer threatening to kill you.
"I've been hired to kill you. I am watching you," says the message from the e-mailer.
"The e-mailer says that though he's been hired to kill them, for a nominal fee he can be persuaded to not carry out the contract," says Orem Police Lt. Doug Edwards.
Federal investigators believe the e-mail originates from Russia. Edwards says on one scam, the victim sent a check for $12,000.
