Deanie Wimmer Reporting Last night in a "Staying Safe" segment we told you about the enormously popular website, MySpace.com. It's a site where many teens and kids chat and post pictures. Our site, KSL.com, was swamped with responses to last night's report.
Fourteen-year old "Emily" tells us, "I was a member of MySpace. I understand the dangers and think it should be shut down for good."
Celia writes, "MySpace is a great website to connect with friends as long as you truly understand how to protect yourself."
Chevy weighs in this way, "Heaven Forbid you watch what your children do."
And many, including Jeanna, ask "Is it possible to block this site out?"
Internet filters help, but we talked with industry experts who say there's no silver bullet. They say it's best to talk to kids about the internet, watch them, and set rules for how long and where they can be on the internet.
