(KSL News) -- Here's some good news for homeowners looking to sell.

Dr. James Wood, University of Utah Analyst: "I think it's going to be an exceptional year for the real estate market."

Analysts met today at a luncheon hosted by the Salt Lake Board of Realtors to discuss 2006. They say exploding growth in Washington County will continue, but in general, Utah homes will stay "pretty affordable."

Dr. James Wood: "Last year almost a quarter were priced under $140,000, which is still very affordable."

Analysts described last year's real estate market as better than the year before and attributed the growth to new retail in Utah's economy, like Cabela's and the anticipated Ikea store.
