Alex Cabrero reporting We still have quite a few weeks to go, but the air quality and inversion levels we have this year aren't as bad as last year.

Still, if you're one of the many people who have breathing problems, anytime the inversion comes is a bad day. It's best not to spend a lot of time outdoors if you're one of them.

So far this season, we've only had two red burn days. But the season is still young.

Rick Sprott, Utah Div. Air Quality: "We're right in the heart of the inversion season. January is typically the worst month, and then February next, so we're right in the middle."

Of course, using mass transit, driving less overall and not burning wood are all ways to try and cut back the pollution levels a little.

It takes all of us to benefit the rest of us.
