(KSL News) Utah County detectives discovered blood in an apartment of a dead baby.
This case goes back to last October when police were told 9-month-old Perla Lopez was dead and buried in an orchard in Payson.
The child's body was found October 29.
Perla's parents are still missing, but investigators believe they returned to Mexico with their two surviving children. Before they left, they told family and friends contradicting stories about Perla's death.
Police don't know how Perla died, but the blood in the apartment makes them believe she is a homicide victim.
Police are still waiting for the medical examiner's final report.
