FM 100’s Jill Atwood ReportingA recent women's financial seminar in Salt Lake City brought the ladies out by the thousands. It seems with Christmas behind us, everyone is eager to control their debt and start saving, and today women find themselves more in the financial mix then ever before.
All of the women in the room have something in common, they have decided to be wealthy. The first step, according to New York Times best selling author Richard Paul Evans, is getting control of your money.

The advice seems basic, yet year after year more women than men find themselves below the poverty line. With the lines further blurring between homemaker and breadwinner, women have to be more responsible.
