Beth Lake, the victim's foster mother, is also charged with taking sexually explicit photos of the teen.

Police started investigating after the girl told a friend she'd been abused.

Police say the Lakes were trying to adopt the teen because they wanted the money she would earn from babysitting.

The couple are now in jail.
