(KSL News) Hundreds of the area's homeless enjoyed a holiday meal today.
The Salt Lake City mission fed about 15 hundred people this afternoon with the help of volunteers and donations from companies.
One bus company even provided service from several shelters and other locations around the valley. In addition to food, dinner guests were offered clothes and a chance to enter rehabilitation programs.
Philip Arena/ Salt Lake City Mission: "The more we can do the better. If we can get one person on their feet, even if one person makes a life changing decision here today, it's all worth it."
The mission will also provide meals tomorrow night until six, and they expect a much larger crowd than today.
