(KSL News) Salt Lake City firefighters have some new, high tech help to respond to emergencies.
The city has announced a partnership with an ambulance service based out of Arizona. Southwest Ambulance says it will dedicate more than a dozen ambulances to the city--about one for each neighborhood.
Each vehicle is state of the art, complete with GPS location systems.
The fire department will dispatch the ambulances.
This is the company's first venture into Utah. It also has ambulance service in Arizona and New Mexico.
