(KSL News) -- The federal government is giving Utah millions to try and help its homeless population.
The Department of Housing and Urban Development has designated more than 6- million dollars to support some 30 programs in Utah.
That includes the Family Support Center ,the Road Home, Valley Mental Health and various nonprofit housing groups.
The money will fund counseling training and help maximize housing opportunities.
