SALT LAKE CITY -- Jimmer Fridette has been the darling of all the sports shows this week -- not just here, but all across the country. There will be at least 24 NBA scouts at the game watching him Wednesday night.

Another person who will be there to watch Jimmer is his older brother T.J.

T.J., an aspiring rap musician, also gets a lot of media exposure. He visited the KSL News studios Wednesday afternoon.

T.J. and Jimmer were joined at the hip as little kids, playing basketball in the driveway. Now, big brother's pride is evident.

"I can't even put it into words. It's unbelievable," T.J. said. "I see him play, and it gives me chills sometimes when he hits some of those big shots and the crowd is going crazy."

Jimmer credits his brother as his biggest fan and biggest supporter.

Last year, T.J. put together a music video called "Amazing." He says it's a life story of two brothers competing, having fun, and pushing each other to be great.

"Yeah, it's the whole thing. So it was an easy song for me to write because I just had to go back and think of everything," T.J. said. "I could have written 10 songs about it, but I just took the things that were most crucial to the song and put the words to the beat."

So, does T.J. have any advice for his little brother on perhaps the biggest night of his basketball career?

"Just to stay focused," T.J. said. "[Don't] worry about what people are telling you from the outside. You know what you need to do. Work hard. Work as hard as you possibly can."

T.J. said whatever happens Wednesday night, he believes Jimmer will be drafted very high in the NBA draft -- first round for sure.
