SALT LAKE CITY (AP) -- A Utah man has been killed after he fell into Lake Michigan.
Authorities say 35-year-old Randall Earl Evans was visiting his parents and other family members in Grand Haven, Michigan.
Deputies say on Friday, Evans walked onto a Lake Michigan pier to photograph waves crashing over the pier when he slipped on the ice and fell into the water.
Officers say the strong waves prevented them from an immediate search of the water. However, a recovery team found his body on Saturday.
Investigators are waiting for an autopsy to determine the cause of death.
