(KSL News) A Lone Peak High School student who spent 24 hours pounding the pavement for a good cause has reached his goal.

We first told you about Jordan Maxwell yesterday, just a few hours after he started his Run for Hunger. Just after midnight, his mom called to let us know he'd made it.

Jordan ran 74.2 miles, and when all the pledges are in he hopes to have raised about $1,000 for the Utah Food Bank.

Jordan's friends all came to run the last 30 minutes with him, giving him an extra burst of energy. His mom tells us his spirits are high, and his body is exhausted.
