ST. GEORGE (AP) -- Since May, four women have reported being attacked and molested while jogging in the St. George area.
The same man is believed responsible for all four attacks.
The victims were all young women wearing headphones while jogging or walking alone.
"The suspect is visiting trails in and around St. George and posing as though he is exercising," said Washington County sheriff's Sgt. Jake Adams. "I am sure he's out there way more than these incidents."
The most recent victim was attacked while jogging down the trail along Pioneer Parkway in Santa Clara on Nov. 12.
The woman noticed a vehicle parked on the side of the trail that she described as a red, full-size American-made truck that is "nicer looking." She said it had a tan or beige-colored border around the bottom.
The woman told police that the suspect began to act as if were doing exercise stretches when he saw her approaching the entrance of a tunnel.
She said the man entered the tunnel on the opposite end at the same time she did.
When the man was within about three feet of her, he lunged toward her, roughly fondled her and dragged her toward the truck. The woman was released and the man fled in the truck.
