SALT LAKE CITY -- When it comes to marijuana and alcohol, Utah teens "just say no" more than teens in any other state.
A report released by the National Center for Education statistics and the Bureau of Justice Statistics says Utah ranks as the lowest percentage of ninth through 12th graders who used alcohol or marijuana in the last year.
Last year, an estimated 18.2 percent of surveyed Utah students in grades 9 through 12 reported using alcohol during the prior 30 days, compared with nearly 42 percent nationally.
