(KSL News) -- Prosecutors hope to file charges soon against a Tremonton babysitter. They say she allegedly beat a baby in her care.
The 23-year old babysitter told the child's mother Monday that the 16-month old fell off the bed. But doctors say the child has injuries far worse than a fall.
He's got broken ribs, internal bleeding, and a concussion. They say he was beaten.
