(KSL News) The sexual history of a murder victim will not be introduced at the trial of her alleged killer.
Lawyers for Dan Petersen wanted to introduce evidence about 14-year-old Tiffany Hambleton's sexual activity to show semen matching Petersen's DNA did not necessarily mean evidence of a sexual assault and murder.
However, a judge denied the request at a hearing yesterday. Hambleton was found stabbed to death in 1986. Petersen was charged last year after DNA tests connected him to the crime.
