(KSL News) -- Taylorsville police are trying to piece together the circumstances of a traffic accident that caused multiple injuries Sunday.
Several cars were involved in the accident at the Intersection of Bennion Blvd and 2200 West.

Police believe the driver of one of the cars may have blacked out, and crashed into several cars as she went through the intersection.
A number of people were transported to various hospitals, including a 3-year old boy.
Officers are also checking to see if alcohol was involved.
