SALT LAKE CITY (AP) -- The third fatal accident on Interstate 15 in Utah County in three days claimed the life of a 71-year-old man.

Now a Springville woman arrested on suspicion of drunken driving and automobile homicide is being held on $100,000 bail.

Utah Highway Patrol Lt. Steven Winward says Brice C. Mickelsen of Springville died of severe head trauma on Thursday south of Provo.

Winward says Mickelsen was traveling south in the right lane when his vehicle was hit by a car that witnesses says was being driven erratically by 58-year-old Diane V. Mott.

The impact forced Mickelsen's car into a barrier before it careened back into traffic and rolled.
