(KSL News)--A two alarm fire in Sandy caused thousands of dollars in damage to a home.
The fire broke out late last night in the attic of a house at 8400 S. 2100 East. No one was home, so neighbors called the fire department after seeing smoke and flames.
It took quite some time for crews to put out all the flames due to the structure of the attic.
The cause of the fire is being investigated.
