(KSL News) -- Products made by an Ogden pet food company are now part of a nationwide recall.
The Food and Drug Administration asked American Nutrition to voluntarily recall pet food manufactured with rice protein imported from China.
Samples of rice protein have tested positive for the chemical melamine, which is linked to the deaths of cats and dogs.
American Nutrition says the products recalled were manufactured for other companies, and their brands are not part of the recall.
