SALT LAKE CITY -- Utah is ranked fifth in the nation when it comes to the number of foreclosures.
According to a RealtyTrac report, more than 18,000 properties were in some stage of the foreclosure process in the first half of the year. That's about two percent of all Utah properties.
Nevada has the nation's highest foreclosure rate, where one in 17 households has received a foreclosure notice.
