SALT LAKE CITY - A body found in St. George on the Fourth of July may be that of a man reported missing in April. Police say it may be the body of 50-year-old Randall Jeffery, who was last seen on March 19.
Because of the advanced state of decomposition, investigators have not been able to positively identify the remains. They say physical evidence found at the scene suggests it may be Jeffery.
The body was found around 10 p.m. about 75 feet off Red Hills Parkway near 450 East. The undeveloped area is located at the bottom of a 100-foot cliff.
Family members said Jeffery had a medical condition and didn't have access to his medication. They say he suffered a stroke and walks with a limp.
