MIDVALE -- Two people are in serious condition after their SUV slammed into a wall and rolled on Interstate 15 in Midvale.
The Utah Highway Patrol says a man and woman were in a Ford Bronco headed north on I-15 around 10:30 p.m. Wednesday.
Troopers say near 7200 South the SUV drifted into another lane and clipped a pickup truck. The impact sent the Bronco into a spin. It hit a wall and rolled several times.
Troopers are still investigating but say the wet road was likely a factor.
Sgt. Anthony Carrubba says, "When you see if there's standing water, puddles on the roadway, that's a definite indicator you need to slow down. Give yourself more time to get where you're going. Don't be in a hurry."
Troopers say the man and woman are expected to survive.
Northbound traffic was reduced to just one lane for several hours for the cleanup.
