(KSL News) -- Public hearings tonight will look at U- DOT's Continuous Flow Intersection (CFI) project on Bangerter Highway at 3500 South.
CFI is designed to increase "green light time" and alleviate conflict between left-turning vehicles and oncoming traffic.
U- DOT wants to add the intersection because of traffic congestion and safety concerns.

The public hearing is tonight at the West Valley City Hall. It will allow the public to learn about and comment on the new intersection.
