SALT LAKE CITY -- David Archuleta performed Monday on the plaza outside Deseret Book's flagship store in Salt Lake City to promote his new book "Chords of Strength: A Memoir of Soul, Song and the Power of Perseverance," which hit bookstores June 1. He later signed books inside the store for the fans who had lined up to see him.
