(KSL News) -- Two people who needed rescuing after their boat capsized in Utah Lake are now sitting in jail.
Just before six this morning, the Utah County Sheriff's Office got a call that a man and woman were in the water, clinging to a boat. During the rescue, the woman knocked a deputy into the water.
Crews dragged the boat out near Pelican Bay in Saratoga Springs. Turns out the couple had been drinking alcohol.
After they went to the hospital to be treated for mild hypothermia, police arrested them for operating a vehicle while intoxicated. The woman also faces drug charges.
