SALT LAKE CITY -- A driver who wasn't paying attention caused a serious accident Saturday afternoon.
Police say the woman was at the intersection of California Avenue and Redwood Road around 12:45 when for some reason she ran a red light in her SUV and slammed into another car.
The impact of the crash sent that car into two other vehicles and caused the woman's SUV to roll.
She was taken to the hospital in serious condition. Several others involved in the crash suffered minor injuries.
Police say alcohol wasn't involved.
