RENO, Nev. (AP) -- A doctor from Utah was killed when he lost control of his vehicle on a rural Nevada highway.

According to the Nevada Highway Patrol, Dr. John Emo of Cedar City was traveling north on US 93 when his Toyota Tundra drifted off the road Friday, 35 miles south of Ely.

The patrol says the 61-year-old Emo over-corrected, causing the truck to rotate and overturn. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
