SALT LAKE CITY -- The country's best high school rugby club knows the pressure is building as they get set to defend their national championship. The head coach says his opponents are getting bigger, stronger and faster and that this year's tournament may be the best ever.

After winning three national championships in a row, Highland High School rugby head coach Larry Gelwix knows the target on his back is getting bigger.

"The good news is that we're the top-ranked team in the country. The bad news is everybody knows that," Gelwix says.

The coach says this year's tournament feel may be the strongest in the tournament's 20-year history. He says the winning team will have to play three games in two days.

"We open at 12 noon in Rio Tinto Stadium against a very good team from New Jersey," Gelwix says.

If Highland wins that game, the team will have to play again at 4:30 on Friday. Then if they win the second game, they'll play for the national title Saturday night.
