(KSL News) -- The promoter of a rave party went to court today to get a temporary injuction against the Utah County Sheriff.
Home video shows sheriff's deputies raiding the party held near Spanish Fork Canyon on August 20th. Authorities made several arrests and conficated illegal drugs and guns from people in attendence.
The concert promoter claims the deputies had no legal right to stop the party because he had the proper permits. The promoter filed a lawsuit against the county and sheriff's department. Today he asked the judge to issue an injunction until the lawsuit can be heard in court.
The judge is expected to rule later this week.
