SALT LAKE COUNTY -- A judge has ordered the state to unseal search warrants issued in connection with the murder of Millard County sheriff's deputy Josie Greathouse Fox, the Salt Lake Tribune reports.

The state attorney general's office wanted to keep the documents private, saying releasing them could jeopardize the right to a fair trial for the two men -- Ruben Chavez-Reyes and Roberto Miramontes Roman -- accused in Fox's death.
However, The Tribune reports 4th District Judge Donald Eyre ruled Monday the information in the warrants being released is essentially the same as that in a document already made public.
The judge did allow two additional search warrants and arrest documents to remain sealed.
The Salt Lake Tribune and the Deseret News have been fighting to have the documents unsealed. They detail efforts in January to find the suspects after Fox was shot and killed during a traffic stop outside of Delta.
Tribune publisher Nancy Conway said, "We're disappointed we didn't get them all. We thought we'd at least get the other [records] redacted."
