(KSL News) -- Changes are in the works for student housing at BYU.

The first big change: the landmark Deseret Towers dorms will be vacated to make way for improvements.

When fall semester starts in 2006, single students will move into a section of what is now married housing at Wyview Park.

BYU also says a new private apartment complex has agreed to rent only to BYU students. The Alpine Village condo experiment is called "chartered housing."
