SALT LAKE CITY -- Utah's Hogle Zoo hosted a big party Saturday in honor of our planet.
Irish dancers kick-started the party as hundreds of people learned ways to help the global environment from right here in Utah. This year's party focused on recycling old cell phones.
Zoo officials say doing so helps Africa's wild gorillas because a mineral used in cell phones is mined from their habitat.
The event also featured a zero-emissions Hummer and the Batmobile from the days when Michael Keaton was the "Dark Knight."
