SANDY -- A man armed only with a note was able to steal prescription medication from a Harmons Pharmacy in Sandy Sunday.

Police say the man was wearing an obvious disguise but had no weapon when he walked into the pharmacy at 7755 S. 700 East around 2:30 p.m. He passed the pharmacist a note demanding the drugs, and the pharmacist complied.

Police did not say what was written on the note.

Authorities quickly set up a containment area and brought in police dogs but were unable to find the drug thief.

This is the second time in two months this particular Harmons Pharmacy has been targeted. On Feb. 8, a man tried to rob the store but didn't get any drugs.
