SALT LAKE CITY (AP) -- A conservative Utah congressman who lost a leg wrestling match to television personality Stephen Colbert has a new target: actor Ted Danson.

Rep. Jason Chaffetz, a former Brigham Young University kicker, lost several leg wrestling matches to Colbert on his show last month.

The 41-year-old Chaffetz later demanded a rematch, although one has not occurred.

On Wednesday, Chaffetz sent a message via Twitter saying "Having met him, I think I could take Ted Danson (in) leg wrestling, but perhaps I assume too much."

Danson, 61, was in Washington, D.C., to testify against offshore drilling.

Chaffetz, who supports offshore drilling, said via Twitter that he planned to share some acting tips with Danson, who is best known for his role as a bartender on "Cheers."

An after-hours message left with Danson's environmental group, Oceana, was not immediately returned.
