(KSL News) -- A cement pumper created quite a mess when it spilled fuel today on I-215.

State troopers say the truck accidentally dumped 80 gallons of hydraulic fuel into the right lane of the freeway. The driver of the truck says two covers on containers holding the fuel broke off, causing the spill.

UDOT and highway patrol shut down the freeway ramp to southbound I-15 so crews could clear the mess. UHP was concerned the road would be too slippery and unsafe for drivers.

Luckily, no one was hurt and the ramp opened in time for the evening commute.
